Bedroom Still Life
3D Computer Modeling
I created this piece while attending California State University Sacramento's ART 142/Computer Science 126 - 3D Computer Modeling course. This project served as my final presentation and I was given one month to complete. My goal with this piece was to create a realistic still life composition utilizing AutoDesk Maya. Still Life can be defined as a work of art depicting inanimate subject matter such as common objects either natural or manmade. I really enjoyed modeling the items in this scene because of the fine detailing required; such as modeling my Olympus 35 RC film camera and UV mapping photos on the closet doors. Creating realism through 3D computer graphics is challenging and rewarding!
